About Dr. Levin
Dr. Levin is in private practice limited to endodontics in Chevy Chase, Maryland, Adjunct Associate Professor of Endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and Adjunct Associate Professor, Department of Endodontics, at Nova Southeastern University. At the University of Maryland, he is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry. At the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Levin is currently Chair of the Dean’s Council. He received the Alumni Award of Merit and served as Chair of the Board of Overseers from 2004-2008, and remains an ex officio member of the board. He is recognized as a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice in Dentistry. He is currently Co-Chair of the Joint Special Committee of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology on Cone Beam Computed Tomography.
Dr. Levin is a recognized expert who speaks both nationally and internationally, on advanced technologies in endodontic practice and office operations management. He is a contributor to the 8th, 9th and 10th Editions of “Pathways of the Pulp” and the 6th Edition of “Ingle’s Endodontics,” and “Cone Beam CT: Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnosis and Applications,” as well as the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles. He is included on the Recommended Speakers List of the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Levin was a keynote speaker at the 61st American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Congress and a panelist at the 2010 American Dental Association Open Clinician and Science Forum on CBCT. Dr. Levin is a member of the scientific review board for Dental Traumatology. Dr. Levin also serves on the Continuing Education Committee of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is the Director of EndoNet Consulting, LLC, a technology and teaching consultancy located in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Dr. Levin earned his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. After completing his post-doctoral residency in endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, and a member of the College of Diplomates. Dr. Levin is recognized as a Distinguished Practitioner in the National Academies of Practice in Dentistry. He serves as Director of EndoNet Consulting, LLC.
