Dr. Martin D. Levin is Adjunct Professor of Endodontics and Chair Emeritus of the Dean’s Council at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. A recipient of Penn Dental Medicine’s Alumni Award of Merit, he has played a long‑standing role in guiding the school’s strategic direction, including his service as Chair of the Board of Advisors from 2004–2008. Nationally, Dr. Levin has helped shape standards in imaging and outcomes research in endodontics. He Co‑Chaired the joint AAE–AAOMR committee that established CBCT guidelines for endodontics and now serves on the AAE’s Special Committee on Outcomes Consensus. At Penn Dental Medicine, he supports research development through the Clinical and Basic Research Advisory Committee, reviewing Schoenleber Pilot Grant proposals. He lectures widely on diagnosis, CBCT, and office operations, and has contributed chapters to Pathways of the Pulp, Ingle’s Endodontics, and Cone Beam CT, along with numerous peer‑reviewed publications. Listed on the AAE’s Recommended Speakers List, he has recently presented at leading international institutions across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Dr. Levin is Managing Director of EndoNet Consulting, LLC, based in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania, completed his endodontic residency at Penn, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, a member of the College of Diplomates, and a faculty member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
